23rd. May, 2019 | Provender HouseProvender LaneNorton near Faversham ME13 0ST |
Barry Summerfield has arranged a private tour of Provender House on Thursday 23rd. May at 11.00 a.m.. Parts of the house date back to the 13th. century and over the years it has been home to a variety of adventurers, explorers and noblemen. It is currently the home of Princess Olga Romanov, the daughter of Prince Andrew Romanoff who was the eldest nephew of Tsar Nicholas 2nd. of Russia. Olga's family first occupied the house in 1890 and she usually conducts the tours which last about an hour. Our party is limited to 25 people so it will be 'first come, first served'. The cost of the visit will be entirely subsidised from our funds so that those who wish can splash out on lunch at the Three Mariners public house in Faversham afterwards. If you wish to go it is important that you let Barry know as soon as possible AND AT THE LATEST BY THE END OF FEBRUARY. When registering to visit Provender House please also state whether you wish to have lunch at the Three Mariners. Details of lunch venue will be sent to those wishing to attend. |
